- Read the course syllabus and course schedule to understand the course expectations and requirements
- Download the Your Spending, Your Savings, Your Future PDF Links to an external site. for use throughout the course
- Obtain The Index Card: Why Personal Finance Doesn't Have to be Complicated by Olen and Pollack (available digitally via Immediate Access, RedShelf Course Materials, linked on Canvas Navigation pane. The syllabus provides additional information).
- Share with your classmates: Tell us about yourself by posting an introduction in Discussion 1: Introduce Yourself.
- Complete Quiz 1: Introduction to the Course. This quiz tests your knowledge of the course requirements
- Complete Assessment 1: Reflection on Motivation, Financial Attitudes, and Financial Capability (Survey) or Assessment 1: Reflection on Motivation, Financial Attitudes, and Financial Capability (Essay). 5 points will be assigned for completing either one of the assessments.
