No doubt there will be a range of insights and actions people take as a result of their learning—whatever you do, don't let this be the end of your journey. There is always more to understand, more histories to uncover, and more ways to wrestle with the legacies of antiblackness and anti-Black racism in our families, workplaces, schools, and communities. We need each other to disrupt white supremacy, and are stronger in our diversity.
Before you go, don't forget to check out our Booklist/Resource page, other Organizations related to dismantling anti-Black racism in Iowa, and a reference list for all materials in the course (I will work to update over the course of the term). And don't forget to Share your Stories if you have additional content you would like included in future iterations of the class.
THANK YOU so much for taking this course, and for your interest in learning about the history of anti-Black racism in Iowa.
Enjoy the rest of your semester!
Dr. Stewart
