- Identify the benefits of owning a home versus renting, and factors to consider when shopping for a home;
- Assess readiness for buying or renting a home;
- Describe the costs and benefits of owning versus leasing a car and factors to consider when shopping for a car;
- Describe the process of purchasing a home and the process of buying a car; and
- Define and complete net worth calculations, debt-income ratio calculations, and safe debt loads using the 20-10 rule.
