Your goal is to create an action research project (aligned with an action research framework) to transform you from a passive consumer of educational theory into an active producer of knowledge, while improving practice, and making informed decisions and choices.

Grading
This participation activity is worth 5 points and will be graded based on thoughtful engagement and completion. To earn full credit, students should clearly address all three prompts—Rose, Thorn, and Bud—and reflect meaningfully on their progress in completing the action research project. A strong response will identify a specific accomplishment, describe a genuine challenge related to action research, and articulate something they are looking forward to as they continue their work. Partial credit may be awarded if responses are overly vague, incomplete, or do not fully address all three components.
