Assessment 7.1: Do You Need to File a Tax Return?

Go to the following link to use the Internal Revenue Service's (IRS) Interactive Tax Assistant (Scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit begin) to discover whether or not you are required to file a federal tax return. Select the most recent filing year available but answer the questions based on your current circumstances. If you don't know how to answer a question, respond "No." After determining whether or not you are required to file taxes, come back and take the survey.
