Cover Letter Assignment Opinion Poll

After grading the Cover Letter assignment, I was asked by several students if they could submit the required Job Posting in hopes of getting some points back (if the job posting was not attached along with the cover letter, zero points were given as I am unable to use the rubric to grade without the job posting used to create the cover letter).  I've been thinking about this request and wanted to bring it to the class.  So, here is an opinion poll -- I'd like your feedback. 

Should students who did not submit the entirety of the assignment be able to submit the job posting for partial credit?
