Exercise 6.1B: Construct Your Resume

Construct Your Resume asks you to assess what skill you already have and what skills you still need to develop for your desired occupation. You will do this by creating and uploading a resume.

1. Find resume guidelines at your College Career Services site Links to an external site.
   • Find your college on the list at the link above.
   • Find resume examples that you can model your resume after.
2. Seek resume writing help:
   • From your college career center (see resources above).
   • Make an appointment at the Writing and Media Center Links to an external site..
   • If you make an appointment with either your college career center or the Writing and Media Center, you should walk in prepared. Take your best shot at writing your resume so that your center staff member or writing consultant can help you improve what you've already written.
